How much life is left in the old Xbox360? Plenty according to Microsoft. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. The Xbox360 is now more than four years old... and so it's only natural to ask if it's nearing the end of the road. But at Microsoft, Interactive Entertainment VP Shane Kim says, there is plenty more to come ...including the release in the coming year of Project Natal....
"And we really believe that Project Natal is going to revolutionize how people interact with their entertainment choices because it really is about making you the controller. It's all about natural user interface, full motion detection, voice recognition, facial recognition. And every Xbox360 that's been sold to date will be compatible with Project Natal."
And of course, the competition isn't standing still. Stay tuned. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
