Nintendo supersizes its handheld game machine. I'm Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear. It's called the DSi XL.....the latest handheld gaming device from Nintendo. It boasts dual 4.2 inch screens that can be viewed from wider angles. The system is pre-loaded with two Brain Age titles, a browser and what Nintnedo calls Photo Clock. Also new is a DS title called America's Test Kitchen... Nintendo of America assistant public relations manager David Young...
"It takes you step by step preparing recipes. It shows you example videos. You can use voice command to progress through the recipes. All the recipes were thoroughly tested by the PBS show America's Test Kitchen."
All in all...the Nintendo DSi XL adds features that will continue the company's efforts to make it appeal to a wider age range...if they can pry it away from the kids or grandkids in the back seat. The price... about 190 dollars. You can find us with archives, interviews and more at BootCamp.com. I'm Fred Fishkin.
