3D sound for movies,  gaming and more.   I’m Fred Fishkin with technology BootCamp, a report on gadgets and gear.      3D Sound Labs…a French tech start up…is out with the 3D Sound One.   They are smart headphones equipped with sensors to track the movement of your head.  CEO Dimitri Singer…

“We want to take into account the movements of your head so that the audio stays where it’s supposed to be relative to the screen or relative to the video.   We’re basically creating some kind of Oculus goggles but for audio.   So our headphones embed those motion sensors that communicate through Bluetooth to your device, whether it’s a PC or an iOS device and very soon Android as well.”

And the audio itself is delivered through a wired connection.   The virtual reality possibilities are pretty exciting.   The tech doesn’t come cheap.    You can find the 3D Sound One headphones for about three hundred dollars.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin.
