GoPro takes to the air

Techstination feature for Tuesday, October 11, 2016

GoPro takes to the air.   I’m Fred Fishkin with BootCamp, your Techstination for gadgets and gear.   GoPro has done more than refresh it’s action camera line up this fall.   It’s entered the drone business too.    The new cameras are the Hero 5 Black and the Hero 5 Session…both capable of shooting 4K video at 30 frames per second.   And the drone is the GoPro Karma.  Karma comes with a stabilizer that is removable to work when the camera is handheld.  Global Communications Director Rick Loughery says there’s also improved Quik editing software and the GoPro Plus cloud service….

“We are for the first time really enabling an end to end story telling solution.   The ability to capture amazing footage and the ability to really create fun, really entertaining video that you’re going to share with your family and friends.”

After a free trial…the GoPro Plus cloud service will cost about 5 dollars a month.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
