More affordable tablets to connect from anywhere

Techstination feature for Thursday, November 3, 2016

More affordable tablets that can connect from anywhere.    I’m Fred Fishkin with BootCamp, your Techstination for gadgets and gear.     Once again Asus has partnered with Verizon…in bringing a tablet to market.   The ZenPad Z10 has arrived with a 9.7 inch display.  It’s priced at about 330 dollars or one hundred dollars less if you’re willing to sign a two year contract for data service.   It can take advantage of Verizon’s LTE Advanced network.  If you don’t need that big screen, Verizon also sells the Asus ZenPad Z8…at 250 dollars or 150 with a contract.   Verizon PR manager Laura Merritt…

“So what the ZenPad Z8 offers is a really rich experience through these dual front speakers and they deliver a really powerful sound quality.”

It ships with just 16 gigabytes of RAM but that can be expanded, thankfully, with a Micro SD card.    There’s more at VerizonWireless.com.  You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
