Microsoft's new PCs aim to wow

Techstination feature for Tuesday, November 8, 2016

Microsoft’s new PCs aim to wow.    I’m Fred Fishkin with BootCamp, your Techstination for gadgets and gear.    Microsoft has found some success with the Surface line of notebook PCs that can double as tablets.    Now it has announced its first desktop PC….a pricey machine  with a 28 inch thin display  called the Surface Studio.    General Manager David Hufford…

“What you can do, it’s a PC, it’s a Windows 10 PC, a very powerful Windows 10 PC that actually has a beautiful display.  It actually displays at 4.5K resolution which is better resolution that has 63 percent more pixels on a screen than a state of the art 4K television that is shipping today.”

It also works with touch or a pen.    There’s also a new Surface Book on the way and Microsoft announced the Windows 10 Creators Update…that includes the new Paint 3D app.
