Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.      Playster is a digital entertainment service with lots of potential….offering subscribers unlimited access to books, music, games and videos.   The biggest issue so far is the lack of top notch content in some of the categories.   Booklovers will find the best deal thanks to agreements between Playster and many top publishers.  There are individual subscriptions for different categories.   Unlimited books and audiobooks are ten dollars a month.  The music category is decent too.    A twelve month subscription to everything for a year for twenty five dollars a month…and says community manager Colin Strachan…subscribers get a Playster branded tablet and headphones…

“You can get the tablet and headphones shipped out to you if you sign up for 12 months using the all inclusive membership.  Because of the 12 month commitment we’ll send you the hardware as a kind of free gift.”

The concept is interesting and has plenty of room to grow.
