MyPostcard lets you send a postcard from your phone

Techstination feature for Friday, February 24, 2017

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.     How often have you gone on vacation and posted pics on social media…or texted pictures to friends.    The tech may fill the immediate need to share your surroundings…but long term….the images are seldom seen again.  An app called MyPostCard can change that…by turning those on the spot photos into postcards that get sent to recipients….by mail.   You remember what that is.   How did the idea come about?  CEO and Founder Oliver Kray says…

“On vacation.  I went to Greece and I was wondering if it was possible to send your own photo as cards and I thought about it and checked the market and then I thought, okay, I can make it better.”

The typical price is 2 dollars 29 cents.  Check out MyPostcard.com/US.

You can find us at Techstination.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
