Techstination feature for Monday, March 13, 2017

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.     Princeton University senior Janelle Tam….who will graduate this spring with a degree in molecular biology…believes in paying it forward.   She was the winner of the 2012 Sanofi BioGeneius Challenge of Canada….as a 16 year old high school student.   How she is working with the National Leadership Academies to create a series of online videos aimed at helping other high school students to achieve their Ivy League goals.   Why?

“So I think back to when I was a high school student.   I was in a public school in Canada and so I didn’t have access to a lot of the same resources that a lot of counterparts at Princeton honestly do at private schools.  And so my mom and I really relied upon Internet resources.”

And now she is a resource too.   You can find her channel on YouTube…and look for the Techstination channel too to watch our interview with her and more.
