“It’s a new chat based work space in Office 365 and it brings together content, people and conversation so that teams can achieve more.  It’s a really exciting new addition to Office 365 and we’re pleased to introduce it to our customers.”

At no additional charge.  It’s designed as a hub more or less where groups of people can work on a project together….adding notes…chatting live when needed…and simply getting things done more easily.  It may not always be appropriate….but the team members can add emojis to make their feelings known.   And Microsoft says Teams features top notch security as well.
