Rosetta Stone revamps mobile & Web language learning

Techstination feature for Friday, April 14, 2017

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.    Language learning company Rosetta Stone is putting more emphasis on mobile.    The company, celebrating it’s 25th year, has unveiled some worthwhile updates to its software….including an Audio Companion that features downloadable audio lessons that can be used hands free.  Sr. Manager of Product Marketing AJ Faraj…says the key is still immersion…

“Once users, whether it is on the mobile application or the Web applications, users are learning as if they are actually sitting in a foreign country.   They start with a core lesson …it starts teaching them vocabulary and phrases for sort of an elementary stage and they will continue to build on it.”

The latest features are available now on iOS and on the Web and coming soon to the Android app.

You can find us at Techstination.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
