T-Mobile's Digits allows mobile number sharing & more

Techstination feature for Thursday, June 8, 2017

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.     T-Mobile is once again disrupting the wireless industry…with the rollout of Digits.    There’s a lot to it, but pretty simply put it lets customers use their mobile number on more than one phone….and lets you use multiple phone numbers on a handset.    Think having one phone that has your personal number and your work number on it.   Or having a number that will ring everyone’s handset in the family….sort of the way an old style home phone works.  Beyond that,  Director of Product Marketing Evan Feldman says….

“So all T-Mobile customers will be able to use their numbers that they have today, which we’re now calling Digits, on any Internet connected device that they want.   You could use it on your PC,  you could use your number on a tablet, or you could even use multiple numbers.”

I have been using Digits for a while in T-Mobile’s Beta program…and have been impressed.
