Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.   When it comes to working with photos on your computer, the folks at Alien Skin have a knack for making software that does some pretty complicated manipulation….but makes it easy at the same time.   Exposure X2.5, for instance, for both Windows and Macs, let’s you instantly see what the numerous effects will look like when applied to your image.  I don’t know how they manage to do it so fast, even on an older PC.   And beyond that, CEO Finley Lee points out…

“Exposure has some advantages as a stand alone photo manager compared to other products as well.  It’s extremely fast.  For people especially who are shooting lots of images, they’ll find that their workflow goes a lot faster.  And that is largely because it is designed largely as a catalog free photo manager.”
