What's impressive about T-Mobile's Digits

Techstination feature for Wednesday, June 28, 2017

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.    One of the most interesting new developments in the world of wireless this year is the introduction of T-Mobile Digits.   The carrier that has shaken up the industry in many ways…now lets customers have one phone number that can ring multiple devices….or have multiple numbers on a single phone.    Director of Product Marketing Evan Feldman…says for a second phone you can add a Sim card for about ten dollars a month…

“This basically provides you with data access to our network and it takes your phone number from your primary device and clones it to the second phone.”

There are lots of potential uses and on top of those…you can log into digits from a computer at work…or at home…and from a browser…take or place calls and text messages.   You can even use the Digits app on non T-mobile phones.   It also works well on tablets…through WiFi…or on a data plan.
