Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. It is hard to believe, but this August will mark the 40th anniversary of NASA’s legendary Voyager Interstellar Message Project. And as Voyager continues its journey through space, Ann Druyan the project’s creative director says…
“This was a chance to create a kind of Noah’s ark of human culture. And it was my great good fortune to be at the right place, at the right time. I still can’t wrap my head around it forty years later.”
The right place was to be working with the late Carl Sagan, who would become her husband. They co-created Cosmos: A Personal Voyage which has just been released for the first time by Audible as an audio book. Druyan remains outspoken about the importance of science and space exploration having won an Emmy for 2014’s Cosmos: A SpaceTime Odyssey.
