Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.    She’s become sort of a tech star overnight.   Angela Luna is being featured in commercials for Microsoft and HP…that show how she uses technology to design clothing with a purpose.   A jacket that transforms into a tent.   A jacket that is reflective on one side for biking or walking…and on the other side…is a camouflaging green.    And the whole idea, says the founder, is to create aid and revenue to help refugees…

“Really trying to use clothing to create solutions or at least possible day to day issues that refugees would face.  Then we kind of moved it forward into an actual brand.  And now we sell these products to consumers with a buy one, give one kind of donation model.”
