It is a thin round disc that does have to be plugged in.   It connects to your phone via Bluetooth to give you the data.   The device can also be used to alert loved ones if breathing rates exceed pre-defined thresholds.  That is by subscription for under ten dollars a month.   The device itself….costs 169 dollars.  There’s more at livebyearlysense.com.
