Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.   With lots of new phones arriving this fall, including the latest from Apple, Samsung and LG….we’re taking a look at the latest flagship device from HTC, the U11.   It has an eye catching design with a back fashioned out of what the company calls 3D liquid glass.   It has a 5 and a half inch screen, is water resistant…and it has pressure points on the sides that enable you to launch apps by squeezing the phone.   Pretty unique.   And the U11 is the best phone yet when it comes to integration with Amazon’s Alexa.  Product Planning VP Nigel Newby-house..says it can be triggered just by using your voice..

“You can take Alexa with you anywhere with you, anywhere you go.  It’s mobile, not just tied to experience in the home now.  You can use the same vocabulary you use in the home now with your Echo out in the car, out when having a picnic, out on the beach, wherever it is.”
