Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.    When it comes to digital photography,  Sony has been coming out with innovative new cameras in a steady stream.   The latest is the a7R Mark III.   It’s the third generation R series camera from Sony…and it features a full frame sensor with an all new processor and imaging pipeline.  It is designed to take beautiful, noise free images over a wide range and, says Senior Technical Manager Mark Weir, the auto focusing capability has been dramatically improved too….

“It’s intelligent auto focus but with IAF, the camera can recognize your subject’s eye and focus on it and track it throughout your shooting.”

Add to that…a 42 megapixel sensor…4K video shooting and much more.   It adds up to a heck of a camera.   And of course…a heck of a price…about 32 hundred dollars.
