Sensel's Morph can be a keyboard, art pad or make music

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.    We love innovation, and we’re pretty impressed by what we’ve seen from a company called Sensel.   The Sensel Morph is a tablet like surface that can connect to computers, tablets and smartphones either by USB or Bluetooth.   It uses rubber overlays…to become anything from a typing keyboard…to a piano keyboard or an artist’s drawing surface.   Great for photographers too.   It senses which overlay is in use at any given time…and the touch sensing is what really amazes.  CEO and co-founder Ilya Rosenberg…

“So it’s actually very similar to how human skin perceives touch.  And it can sense from the lightest touch of a feather all the way up to several kilograms of force.”

There’s much more to come.   You can learn more at Sensel.com.
