Reputation Institute's 2018 study sees Apple falling, Samsung rising

Techstination feature for Wednesday, March 28, 2018

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.     The Reputation Institute is out with its 2018 study of corporate reputations.   Among tech companies, Google, Canon, Sony and Microsoft are in the top ten.   That’s a significant move up for Microsoft…and the Institute’s Chief Research Officer Stephen Hahn-Griffiths says the company’s CEO Satya Nadella deserves much of the credit.    Also of note…. Samsung’s reputation rose sharply …up 44 spots to number 26 in the world… based in part on how it handled the recall of the Note 7….

“What’s fascinating to me is at the same time as Samsung has risen, Apple has declined.  In fact, Apple dropped 38 rankings, is now ranked 58th in the world.”

South Korea’s other tech giant LG showed gains as well.  For more, check out ReputationInstitute.com.
