Adobe giving Creative Cloud access to students through schools for 5 dollars a year

Techstination feature for Wednesday, May 16, 2018

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.        In a move designed to spur creativity and help young people develop new skills for arts and technology…Adobe has announced a program to let schools offer the full range of its Creative Cloud software to students…with pricing as low as five dollars per student per year.   There’s a minimum of 500 licenses per school to get the deal, but, says Senior Product Marketing Manager Sharif Karmally…

“The goal of this is to allow our next generation of creators, of creative problem solvers, to access the world’s best tools earlier in life.  And to not have access to tools stop them from pursuing their creative passion.”

The student licenses through schools will allow them to use the Creative Cloud software at home as well as in school.
