Fibaro aims to "Button" up smart homes

Techstination feature for Monday, June 18, 2018

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.         Fibaro aims to simplify home automation with The Button.    The smart home company Fibaro has been in the market for about eight years making a variety of sensors.    Some of the latest products are compatible with Apple’s HomeKit.     Managing Director for the USA Rich Bira says the new Button…adds lots of versatility…

“It’s meant to be a very simple device that anybody can use to let’s say turn on individual lights or activate any type of Homekit device… a wall plug, garage door opener.  So you can do up to three different actions.”

You can use it activate programmed scenes as well...to control multiple smart home devices.  The clever button is available in red, black or white and sells for about sixty dollars.
