Vtech's DigiArt Color by Lights promotes art skills and more

Techstination feature for Thursday, August 30, 2018

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.        Using tech to help kids learn to draw.   Vtech’s new DigiArt Color by Lights is designed for kids as young as three….and helps themtech's DigiA learn to draw and color using a light up board…

“The product comes with fifty different coloring pages which are recognized by the light up board and then six crayons.   And it will begin by lighting up one section of the page and instructs you which color to use.”

Vtech’s Tiffany Lavery.  Kind of like a paint by number system.  Parents can download more pages for unlimited play.  In the meantime, Vtech’s LeapFrog brand has the new LeapStart 3D learning system that uses interactive books, audio and animations to engage kids from preschool through first grade.   A library of more than 25 books is available for the system.
