Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.        T-Mobile is calling it the Changemaker Challenge.   The idea was to get young people involved in coming up with ideas to make the world a better place.   Executive VP Janice Kapner says there were hundreds of entries this first year….and thirty of them were brought to T-Mobile headquarters to share their ideas with executives and their peers…

“They explained where the idea came from,  what they’re trying to accomplish and then they get feedback.   They get feedback from everybody on how to make it better, why things resonate, ways to scale, ways to share their story more broadly and get more participation.  In some cases to go national if they’ve just started in their local community.”
