Nikon touts full frame mirrorless cameras

Techstination feature for Friday, November 16, 2018

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.  While Sony may have pioneered the idea of full frame mirrorless digital cameras,  the competition is heating up.   At Nikon, the new  Z7 and Z6 cameras have arrived Senior Technical Manager Steve Heiner…

“These are full frame cameras.   One is a 45 megapixel, the other a 24 megapixel.     One does 9 frames per second maximum top speed, the other, the Z6, does 12 frames per second.  Other than that, they are practically identical.  Slightly different ISO range and resolution, auto focus marks.  It’s really exciting because along with these two new mirrorless cameras, we’ve introduced a whole new Z mount system.”

An adapter will allow other Nikon lenses to be used however.   For more info…head for www.NikonUSA.com.
