More camera innovation from Sony.    I’m Fred Fishkin with BootCamp, your Techstination for gadgets and gear.    Sony has unveild two new cameras…the new a6500 interchangeable lens camera…which will arrive next month for about 14 hundred dollars…and the Cyber-shot Rx100 Mark 5…a super pocket camera priced at about a thousand dollars.     It boasts the world’s fastest auto focus.   Sony’s VP of Digital Imaging Neal Manowitz…

“Both are additional models and they’re both really all about speed.  So on the RX100 Mark 5 we have amazing, amazing phase detection auto focus we’re adding and on the a6500 we’ve added in a whole litany of features like five axis image stabilization.”

Both can shoot 4K video.  The a6500 can shoot up to 11 frames per second….for up to 20 seconds and adds touch screen focus as well.   The innovation has helped Sony’s camera sales to keep growing.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
