The top trending searches of the year.   I’m Fred Fishkin with BootCamp, your Techstination for gadgets and gear.     The folks at Google Search are taking a look at the year that was…..and what we searched for most often.     The company’s Susan Cadrecha….

“Amazingly, the number one search, trending search this year, was actually Powerball.  We saw this actually rise last January which was when we saw the unprecedented Powerball jackpot rising to 1.6 billion.  Number two came in was actually Prince’s passing.    And of course we saw a ton of interest around the election and Donald Trump.”

Perhaps it’s a sign of the times though.   There were more searches for Pokemon Go than for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton this year.   Google also has info on calorie content searches too.  Number one…how many calories are in a Big Mac.   The answer…a whopping 563.   Not sure if we should say whopping.   You can find us at BootCamp.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
