Improving on touch technology: Qeexo

Techstination feature for Tuesday, March 14, 2017

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.    Not all touch technology is created equal.   A company called Qeexo, founded out of Carnegie Mellon University,  allows you to use different parts of your finger …to do different things with a phone or tablet.  The tech is called FingerSense.  And now Qeexo has developed TouchTool.   CEO Sang Lee…

“While FingerSense allows the device to understand different types of input, TouchTool will allow the device to understand your intentions.  For example, when you’re using an interactive service, if you want to summon a virtual pen, you just need to imagine that you’re holding a pen in your hand, put your hand down on the screen, and the device will immediately understand that you are looking for a pen and now you’ll have a virtual pen underneath your hand.”

There’s much more to come.  Learn more at Qeexo.com.   You can find us at Techstination.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
