Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.   Measuring audience brain activity….during a movie.      We can’t give too much away about the plot,  but during special screenings of the movie MindGamers in New York and Los Angeles….a thousand members of the audience will be outfitted with headbands attached to tablets to measure their brain activity.   Neuroscientist Dr. Tim Mullen  is among those behind the experiment…

“If things go to plan, we’re going to be able to visualize this phenomenon of a large number of people recording brain activity together in the same experience as they create sort of an interactive 3D representation of this brain wave activity in real time.  And it’s really the first time that anything of this scale has ever been attempted.”
