Miggo's Pictar gives iPhone camera better grip and more

Techstination feature for Tuesday, July 25, 2017

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.   Pictar is an iPhone camera grip from a company called Miggo, that really does help you take advantage of some of the great iPhone picture taking capability.   It adds a camera like look and feel to the phone along with dials to help with the controls.   That’s done through ultrasonic signals that are received by the phone.  Pictar has a replaceable battery.    CEO Guy Sprukt says the functions should be familiar…

“The main button I would say is the shutter release button.  It’s an electronic button located right where your finger is laying.  And by half pressing it,  you can lock your focus and you can lock  exposure.  And when you full press it, then it releases the shot.”

The price, about one hundred dollars.  There’s more at www.mymiggo.com.
