“So at the top of the list is portable memory.  So that’s number one.  Number two is kind of interesting also, something that some folks might say, wait a second, why would I need one of those.  A calculator.”

At Best Buy, Derek Meister says there are plenty of families making bigger purchases too…

“One of the big things, of course, people are looking for laptop computers.  More than sixty one percent of the college bound students are looking for that.”

And prices are all over the map…ranging from inexpensive Chromebooks…to higher powered Windows and Mac machines.
