Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.        A fun, techie way to gets kids more excited about books.   Balance Eductainment is using augmented reality in a book called Pacha’s Pajamas.   The idea is that as you come upon illustrations in the book….you point your smartphone camera….using the accompanying app….and the illustrations spring to life.     CEO and co-founder Dave Room…who has launched an Indiegogo campaign for the project….says the story is designed to teach too…

“We have understood that nature wanted to tell a story.   The story of a little girl named Pacha.   And when Pacha goes to sleep, the plants and animals on her pajamas become her guides on a dream adventure to learn more about herself and her connection to the natural world.”
