Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.      It has been about thirteen years since Sonos arrived on the scene with wireless technology designed to bring high quality audio throughout the home.    The company continues to innovate with the Alexa enabled Sonos One.   It looks and sounds very much like the Sonos Play:1…but it includes microphones on top along with a button that allows you to disable the microphone when you choose to.     Using the Sonos app, you can set up nearly fifty different music services to work with it….including Apple Music, Spotify, Google Play Music and Amazon Music.    But the choices are more limited when you want to use Alexa voice control.  And if you add a second Sonos speaker in the room…you can pair it to the Sonos One for great sounding stereo.    The price for the top of the line smart speaker…about two hundred dollars.
