BusyKid app gives parents control over chores, allowances and more

Techstination feature for Wednesday, July 4, 2018

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.        An app to help teach kids about money…while tracking chores and allowances.    BusyKid is the name of the app.   CEO Gregg Murset says allowances are paid via direct deposit that kids can access via debit cards.   And beyond that…

“Every Thursday our system sends out a text message that says…hey, little Johnny earned twenty dollars this week.  Do you want to pay him, yes or no.  And all a parent has to do is type back yes on their text and that initiates a transfer from a parent’s bank account into our system and it allocates that money automatically into saving, sharing and spending.”

There’s a free trial….after that BusyKid costs just fifteen dollars per year… per family.

You can find us at Techstination.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
