Samsung's Galaxy Note 9 goes big on storage and more

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.    Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 9 arrives this week featuring a bigger screen and a bigger battery to get you through the day.    And, Samsung’s Adam Kuhn points out, those aren’t the only things that have gotten bigger…

“There’s two configurations, one will be six gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of base internal storage.  That’s going to be the baseline model for the Galaxy Note 9.  But there will be an optional model that’ll have 8 gigs of RAM and on top of that 512 gigs of internal storage.  And if you partner that with our micro SD card slot and the fact that we’re going to be producing 512 gig micro SD cards by the end of this year, you essentially have a 1 terabyte ready phone.”

That should come in handy for all of those photos and videos.  And the S Pen…which makes the Note a Note….now has Bluetooth capability...giving you remote camera control and more.  Samsung is raising the bar again.
