Rocketbook's reusable digital smart notebooks

Techstination feature for Friday, August 31, 2018

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.   I’m Fred Fishkin.    The idea of taking handwritten notes and digitizing them has been around for years.   What a company called Rocketbook is doing, is taking the concept…and making it affordable and fun.   Rocketbook sells reusable notebooks…and inexpensive Pilot Frixion pens….along with an app for your phone.    You write in the notebook…use the app to take a picture of the page….and then can wipe the pages clean to be used over and over again.    Rocketbook’s Meghan Azralon…

“Scan the page through your Rocketbook app and there it will be sent to your pre-determined destinations.   So if I wanted to send my notes to a co-worker of mine via email, I can send it to her that way.  It will also go through Slack or I could put it into Google Drive, Evernote, all that stuff.”

Your writing can be turned into searchable text as well.   There’s more at GetRocketbook.com.

You can find us at Techstination.com.   I’m Fred Fishkin.
