At Apple, senior retail marketing director Allen Olivo says despite disappointing overall sales of iMacs... the company still has faith in its switcher campaign and retail store strategy...
"About half the customers in the store are on Mac about half are brand new to Macintosh. And about four out of ten of our buyers are new to Macintosh. So we absolutely are reaching that new to Mac audience. With iPod, we've had a great success both on Macintosh and on Windows."
