"Air Bud is a product that was developed to help simplify the use of cellular phones while driving or for that matter while you're at the office or at home. It's an attempt to try and free the user from any sort of cord when they're using a headset with their cell phone."
Air Bud consists of a rechargeable ear piece and a little 900 MHz transmitter, that plugs into a standard jack on a cell phone. And... I'm speaking through the Air Bud now and the quality is similar to what you'd get with a cordless phone. Right now, the Air Bud works with Verizon and Sprint CDMA phones... There is the issue of comfort. The Air Bud headset is fine for short conversations... but leaving it on during a long commute is not very comfortable. Bloomberg Boot Camp, I'm Fred Fishkin
