Playing DVDs in your PC. Bloomberg Boot Camp, a report on today's technology. Odds are pretty good that the screen attached to your computer is a lot smaller than the TV in the family room. So the family room is typically the best place to break out the popcorn to watch a movie. But many top DVD movies, like the newly release Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, now include features that you can only access on a Windows based PC.(SOUND) Microsoft product manager Tracy Overby...

"There is additional content in about 80 percent of all blockbuster DVDs that can only be accessed using a Windows 98 PC or higher. And that DVD content includes everything from interactive story boards... in the case of Spiderman, it allows you to put the movie script right next to the comic book script and see where they're the same and where they're different. A really fun thing to do is to dub your voice in for one of the movie characters."

The Harry Potter DVD lets kids use their voice to navigate through the Chamber of Secrets. You'll need a microphone or headset attached to your DVD drive equipped PC. The software that makes the added features possible is from a company called InterActual...

"It installs once you put the DVD into your DVD ROM."

And on the business side, it allows for the anonymous tracking through the Internet of movie watching preferences. You can find more information at Interactual.com. Bloomberg Boot Camp, I'm Fred Fishkin.
