The 200 dollar Linksys Media Adapter provides an on screen TV menu for playing digital music or viewing digital photos. A couple of drawbacks... it requires a fairly new Windows XP computer... .and it uses the 11 megabit per second 802.11b standard. That means it is designed for sharing digital still pictures... not video...
"Right now we are looking at future versions of this which will allow full motion video to be shared from the PC to the television set as well."
