Over 50 percent of that revenue is from the fingerprint sector of the biometric space. Fingerprint technology will continue to be the primary technology going into 2006."
Even if sexier technologies such as face and iris recognition sometimes capture more headlines. And fingerprint access control devices are also showing up on more and more computer systems for security...
"Targus for example makes pods that you've probably seen on the market that are fingerprint USB pods that a number of Fortune 100 organizations have started to use. Those pods actually go out with the Bioscrypt algorithm tied to the license of that piece of hardware."
