One of the nice things about this is just the general flexibility of the connectivity which allows a user to hook up either dual inputs for their PC system, analog or digital, as well as for the video aspects. We have component, composite and S-video connections for their use. And it's all backed by the traditional, standard Dell systems service and support."
Unlike rival Gateway... Dell has still been making money in the computer business. So why start selling TVs?
"As we see the PC emerge as the center for digital entertainment in the home, there's a growing need for these types of devices. What our customers are telling us is that they'd like to see a feature rich LCD TV from Dell with that same level of service and support as well as general product quality."
