DVD drives are becoming a popular option in many notebook computers....

The price, just over three thousand dollars. IBM has a new ThinkPad 570...that lets you travel light...or pack on a DVD and two batteries that will last through two, maybe three movies...

IBM's Rick McGee. Prices for the 570 start at around 27 hundred dollars. The cheapest way to achieve that airline envy is Panasonic's Palm Theater. It is an under three pound portable DVD player with a 5 inch LCD screen. It sells for under 11 hundred dollars. It can double as a DVD player in your home entertainment center as well.
