New ways to share digital pictures. Bloomberg Boot Camp, a report on today's technology. One of the reasons why digital photography is so much fun is how easy it is to share pictures. You can email them….or share them through online services like SnapFish…or Kodak owned Ofoto. But if you and your family members and friends have high speed Internet connections…one of the most interesting new services is from a company called OurPictures. Founder and CEO John Paul, who helped create You've Got Pictures at AOL, says the idea is to link PCs together…

"So, if you've got our software running on your desktop and I share with you, the picture goes from my computer straight to your computer. Now you've got a copy of it on your computer, you can do with it whatever you wish."

The software organizes pictures in albums sorted by date….but is not as full featured as Adobe's Photo Shop Album…or Microsoft's Digital Image Library. But having pictures you take….show up automatically on another PC across the country…or on the other side of the world…is pretty neat. OurPictures also sells prints by mail for 19 cents apiece… or it lets you send them via the Internet to local Ritz of Wolf Camera stores…

"More than half the Ritz stores and Wolf stores…are now networked right to the store. And so within about 30 minutes, we're finding, people can go down and get their pictures"
