A wearable video camera….finally arrives. Bloomberg Boot Camp, a report on today's technology. After months and months of hype…Deja View says its Model 100 is finally here. The miniature video camera…attaches to your glasses…or to a cap….and is tethered to a lightweight box that hooks onto your belt. It saves everything you see and say in temporary memory….and when something happens you want to save….press a button on the box…and the previous 30 seconds of video and sound are saved onto an SD memory card. The idea is pretty cool…but will there be a market for the 400 dollar device? Deja View President Sid Reich…

"We already have a lot of pre-orders through our Web site. Typically the retail customer that we see wants them because they're part of an active lifestyle, where you don't want to be glued to looking through the lens of a camcorder in order to get the videos you want."

Deja View says the rechargeable battery will last at least four hours…as you walk around recording life. The 64 megabyte SD card that it ships with…is enough to record 16 events. Reich expects sales to start slowly…

"We're anticipating sales of between 25 hundred and 5 thousand units in September and hopefully 5 thousand to 10 thousand in the October-November time frame per month."
