"What we're doing is inviting people who register on the site, to vote on all the restaurants that they go to. And they'll even have their own personal voting diary, so that they can keep track of the restaurants they go to all year, vote on them, go back in and change their votes if they have a different experience at the restaurant."
The survey will not take ads from restaurants to keep the process unbiased. Eventually Zagat.com plans to add menus and links to restaurants on the web. It also lets you vote online for a new Diner's Bill of Rights.
