Music and Motorola…Bloomberg Boot Camp, a report on today's technology. The big trend in cell phones this year….is music. The addition of memory cards and the ability to play digital music files. At Motorola, CEO Ed Zander says the company will begin selling its long awaited phone designed to work with Apple's iTunes service by mid-year. About any delays, Zander tells us…

"I'm not going to comment too much other than to say we have a great relationship with Apple. We're building some really compelling, wild products that we've talked about last year when we announced it. From time to time we've showed demos of it. You're talking now about the actual announcement of the product which involves Apple's partners, the carriers around the world. And we felt, all of us, that it was beneficial for all of us to get together and do this when the product is absolutely ready to ship with all of the relationships solidified." That has been Apple's strategy in the past. To do an announcement and have it in stores the next day, a big bang kind of thing. Are you going along with that? Is that the way this is going to work? "We have a relationship with Apple, we have a timetable to get the product done and now you have to have a delivery vehicle, which is their partners, the carriers. And that thing is being done and the three of us are looking at the right time to bring this to market."
