But what about all of those pictures you took before you had a digital camera? You can use a flatbed scanner to digitize prints. The PrimeFilm PF1800S sells for under 140 dollars. The company's 3650U is about double the price, but increases the resolution and includes Kodak's Digital Ice technology…

"Digital Ice will help the users to get rid of dust and scratches and Digital Rock will restore the color."

Some of the entry level PrimeFilm models have gotten less than favorable online user reviews. That's not the case with the 3650U. Keep in mind that with all digital photos you have stored on a PC, it's wise to back the files up onto CDs or DVDs.
