Can your PC help to reduce stress? Bloomberg Boot Camp, a report on today's technology. Lots of people might blame computers for increasing stress levels. Notebook PCs…mean you can take your work with you wherever you go. The Wild Divine Project is trying to counter that, with a game that uses biofeedback. Marketing VP Wendy Goldner says the package comes with sensors that are worn on three fingers…and you advance in the game by learning to control your breathing and heart rate…to relax….

"It's beautiful animated 3D graphics. You'll really enjoy being in the program. And the training is quite beneficial. The concept is to train you to use these techniques in everyday life. So we're not asking anybody to take all their meditation, all their relaxation and to be fixed on their computer the rest of their lives. What we're suggesting is, 20 minutes of practice 3 or 4 times a week to be able to really learn these techniques that you can use in the real world. So now I'm on the bus, I'm crowded, I'm walking into a meeting with my boss, whatever it is that might produce that anxiety in me, I have these breathing and these meditation techniques that I do on my own to get myself into a real calm, centered place that I can be in my peak effectiveness both mentally and physically.

The first package from Wild Divine…which includes the biofeedback hardware…sells for about 160 dollars. New add on software titled WisdomQuest…is about 60 dollars. l You can find more information at WildDivine.com. You can find us at BootCamp.com. Bloomberg Boot Camp, I'm Fred Fishkin.
